TheĀ Silver GullĀ is widespread in Australia and by adulthood they have red beaks and red legs and are around 38-43cm. They nest in small to large colonies on islands, lakes, saltworks etc prefering ground nests lined with seaweed, or they may nest on dead trees in standing lakes. They lay 3-4 eggs.
