This morning the sunrise was beautiful. Soft colors reflecting on a silent surface, there was barely a ripple on the water. It was perfectly still, like glass with soft and muted colors.
Today the sunrise is purples and pinks. I walk down to the river and see the small jetty here and look across to Mt Cook on the right and the Jetty on the left. Finally the rain stopped and I was able to walk up Jensens Crossing road in Cooktown to see a sunset over Mount Cook.
There are beautiful sunrises and sunsets here and viewing is from the back of the home area where there is the staff living quarters and a holding paddock and dam. The home property is shaded with many different trees. Another beautiful day has begun.
I was on the Ferry from Redland Bay returning to Macleay Island when the sunset began.
